BVC Final Exams

Yes... the finals have indeed come... and it will last from March all the way till June... that's a long way to go - and a lot of pee in the process... and I'm here trying to get myself distracted by writing on my not-so-updated blog...

Dinky thinks I'm coming back next year and has already made plans for me - continuing kick boxing and that I should be her partner. The thing is, I don't think she realizes that I'm still gonna stay in the UK till... God knows till when. SOON... (by soon, i mean a year or two)

There's also this very disturbing image which my friend forced me into seeing - she's haunted by it, and so am I now... literally... everytime I think about it, I just wanna squeeze it so that the eggs come out... because its just so freaking gross, you have no idea...

Anyway, I'm so touched by what Dinky sent me - was a surprise when I received it in the post a few days ago... made me feel a whole lot better cuz my life has been oh-so-dramatic bcoz of my flatmates... and I don't wanna talk about it. She sent me the pop-out Valentine's Day card (above) and a belated Chinese New Year card too!

My friend just came back from New York for the weekend and got me this lovely tote bag... :)
I got this Starbucks Frappucino from another friend which brought it all the way from The Bahamas! *yummilicious*

I also went for the Education Day at Gray's Inn last weekend as well as the Reading Malaysian Night 2008... they did such a fantastic job I must say! So much effort put into the act, dance and whole performance itself! Congrats! Also had a chance to catch up with my other Bar mates from different parts of England...
Also went for a lil tour of the UK lifestyle with Dave & friends... it's called "The Cruise".

(and now... I shall watch Bull Fighting as part of my distraction... cizzo!)

I MISS MALAYSIA!

I swear... Chinese New Year is around the corner... I get texts, online messages and comments asking whether I'll be back for CNY! But heck no! I've not properly celebrated CNY for the past 2 years now and it sucks big time, I can assure you of that! Everyone back home have done New Year shopping, storing massive amount of food in their fridge, cleaning up houses and preparing angpao's!

What do I get? A Chinese dinner. That's IT?! There's no CNY spirit like there is back home... dragon or lion dances... home visits to and from friends, family and just random people... great fun! Visiting the temple and lighting joy sticks! Candles everywhere... just so awesome... growing up in Malaysia has indeed made me more aware of other cultures, like Hari Raya celebrations and Deepavali... and a country that celebrates 3 massive celebrations, WOW man! To make my CNY this year even worse, there's a Civil Litigation exam on that day itself. SO HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO YOU TOO! I bet you're having a blast while I sit myself in the exams thinking, "WTH am I doing here?!"

Lucky for 8tv online. If not for that, I'd died long time ago - missing Malaysia is crazy. People who haven't been to Malaysia and lived there properly won't know how much they're missing out. Seriously. There's so much fun stuff to do back home - and its not ridiculously expensive like over here in UK or for the rest of Europe for that matter.

Trippin' is such a good show - it tries to promote every fun part in Malaysia & I didn't know there were so much MORE amazing stuff to do back home if not for these programmes. Good job guys! The show, What Women Wants is interesting to watch - they just didn't like chose Malaysian men themselves but there's a mix, which is fair I would say. I really feel that the entertainment industry in Malaysia is constantly growing and people's minds are opening up. Not soooooooo conservative like it was 20 years ago. This is a good change.
