I was in Prague during Christmas Eve... it was beautiful and wonderfully cold... But a good warm hot chocolate really does make a difference :) The Christmas decorations were pretty along the way... and managed meet random people in the hostel! I should've taken a few shots of Levir Hostel while I was there again... too bad we didn't have the time... Anyway, we headed to Old Town Square, wanting to go to Charles Bridge but somehow never really got there... and we were starving! After the many unsuccessful attempts of locating a cafe or restaurant, Roshan stumbled upon this Afghan restaurant called Adina... great food and believe it or not, we were the only ones there! It was like we reserved the whole place to ourselves. It's inside an alley, no one would really notice it though. So, I guess we were lucky!
New Year's was celebrated in Townshend International School in Hluboka, Czech Republic. It took us about 2 hours 40 minutes to get to Ceske Budejovice and then caught a cab to to school. I was really amazed because it's the first Baha'i school I've been at! This is a picture of me standing in front of the school although you can't really get the whole view of it.
The Changing Times Youth Conference was fabulous! 250 youths from all around the world came to participate... it feels as though I got a feel to each and every one of those countries because we had a week to spend with each other. Very diversed indeed!Not forgetting the talented DawnBreakers Collective...
They were performing for us through out the social times during the night and I have to say, I'm hooked on to their voices! Rappers Benny Cassette & Iodine, DJ Sam, Devon Gundry, Andy Grammer & Tara Ellis was beyond superb.I've always loved "At The Top Of My Lungs" sung by Devon. I finally got to meet him! Very very down to earth person.
Andy Grammer's new song, "Cover Up" really made me smile.
Tara's song, "Anis" which she wrote and sang so beautifully just kept my soul on a high. Floating, listening to its melody and what it meant was beyond the sky.
Anyway, I have a Civil Trial in 3 days. Very stressed. The judge ain't gonna be easy on me.
